Mercy Hospital for Women

Mercy Hospital for Women is one of the most innovative and technologically advanced tertiary women's hospitals in Australia providing maternity, gynaecology, specialist gynaecology and neonatal services. Mercy Hospital for Women has one of only four neonatal intensive care units in Metropolitan Melbourne. Education courses are facilitated within the hospital in conjunction with many universities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Werribee Mercy Hospital

Werribee Mercy Hospital offers a variety of opportunities for graduate nurses and postgraduate study. All participants of the graduate and postgraduate nursing and midwifery programs attend regular paid study days, clinical debriefing / supervision sessions and support from well prepared preceptors and mentors. 

 

Mercy Mental Health
Mercy Mental Health is the main mental health provider for the south-western metropolitan region of Melbourne, caring for the adult population of Maribrynon, Hobson's Bay and Wyndham councils. It also includes areas such as Maribrynong, Wyndham, Point Cook, Tarneit and Laverton.

Mercy Mental Health is made up of a number of treating teams who provide specialist assessment, treatment and ongoing care to people who have serious mental health problems. They also give support and advice to families and carers.

All services offered by Mercy Mental Health are tailored to people aged between 16 and 65, and include a range of acute and community-based programs across sites at Footscray, Werribee and Wyndham, Enhanced crisis support services are offered at Werribee Mercy Hospital and Western Hospital emergency departments. The service also operates on of Victoria's three specialist mother and baby units for women suffering for post-natal depression and psychosis.
