Who are we?

Mercy Health is a community benefit organisation established by the Sisters of Mercy to provide health, aged care and community services.

Founded by a daring and courageous woman, Catherine McAuley, in Dublin in 1831, the Sisters of Mercy have always shown great compassion for those in need, the poor and the vulnerable.

This work is continued today by our people. An integral part of our commitment to live the mission and vision of the Sisters of Mercy is ensuring that we maintain a values-driven workplace. 
 
Mercy Health has been successful in obtaining the Employer of Choice for Women citation by the Equal Opportunity Workplace Agency (EOWA) in consecutive years.

In obtaining this citation we have been able to demonstrate a commitment to advancing our  people in the workplace.
