Mercy Health - Bethlehem Home for the Aged - Bendigo
Mercy Health - Bethlehem Home for the Aged, is a 147 bed residential aged care facility set in 30 acres of gardens and lawns overlooking the city of Bendigo.
There are 73 high-care nursing beds (20 dementia specific), 74 low-care beds and two low care respite beds available, so employees at Bethlehem get to work across all areas providing differing levels of care.
Residents are encouraged to maintain independent and active lives with plenty of stimulation through the various therapies and programs, including aromatherapy, reading, quizzes, craft, outings, visiting entertainers and church services. The home has strong links with Latrobe University and Bendigo regional TAFE, a partnership that provides professional development opportunities for our people.
