The Specialist Eating Disorder clinician will provide a high standard of clinical care and educational support across Mental Health services. The focus will be to improve access and provision of support and treatment for consumers experiencing eating disorders. The role is based at Wyndham Community Mental health team, Hoppers Crossing. The successful applicant will work across the welcoming, friendly and committed teams of the service, whom are passionate in providing an accessible high quality service to the diverse community.

• Part-time, Permanent Position, 64 hours per fortnight
• Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 or Allied Health 3
• Monday-Friday
• Engage and liaise with key stakeholders to promote collaboration and partnership in meeting the needs of clients with an Eating Disorder
• Providing discipline specific evidence based practice and appropriate treatment options.

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with successful completion of a undergraduate psychiatric nursing program or a Post graduate Psychiatric / mental health nursing qualification or
• Approved Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or
• Registration with AHPRA as Psychologist with eligibility for endorsement as a clinical psychologist.
• Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with clients experiencing Eating Disorders
• Solid understanding of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014
• A current unrestricted Victorian Driver’s License and ability to work a vehicle.
